about us
be you on your wedding day
We want to work with you no matter your race, gender, sexuality, or religion. The joy of working in our industry is that we get to meet so many people from all sorts of different backgrounds cultivating our creative drives, expanding our floral vocabulary and, ultimately, enriching our lives. Our goal is to create celebrations that speak to our couples as individuals and honor the journeys that have brought them to this moment.
your piece of mind is our priority
Pricing sheets, consultations on your schedule, detailed proposals, online contracts, and honest conversations are just a few of the ways we’ve built transparency into every thing we do. On your wedding day, you’ll have a full team of wedding pros looking for ways - floral and otherwise - to help your day go smoothly. We have a reputation for being dependable, easy to work with, and for exceeding expectations with our designs.
sustainable practices
Floral art is, by it’s nature, something beautiful that only lasts for a few days. At Hedonia we have taken a number of steps to reduce our environmental impact, including composting all our organic waste and using biodegrable packaging for our wedding deliveries. Our flowers come from Rainforest Alliance-certified farms from across the globe, with a focus on locally-grown blooms when seasonally available.
And about our work…
The team: A courageous crew of multi-talented gals all pulling together to make your event top-notch fabulous.
Our style: Garden-y, textural-y, generally exuberant and a little overflowing. Refined shapes loosened with the natural forms of tendrils & curls. Beautiful flowers with a healthy dose of decadence that doesn’t take itself to seriously.
Favorite partnership: Working with the Marriott Global Design Team to design the botanical brand standards for Westin and JW Marriott. A close second is winning Best in Show and Fan Favorite at the floral sculpture show Fleur de Villes 2022!
Favorite Chicago venues: Adler Planetarium, The Arbory, The Walden, The Joinery, Wildman BT, Greenhouse Loft, Sarabande, Chicago History Museum…So many gorgeous places!
