What is the Simplicity Collection? Is it right for my wedding?

The Simplicity Collection is Hedonia Flower’s range of wedding flowers that can be purchased online. It’s a quicker and easier option for couples working within a budget to get beautiful, designer-made floral arrangements for their special day.


Simplicity Weddings

  • Pricing - More affordable. No minimum orders.

  • Process - Simpler. Shop the catalog and use the order form to let us know what you’re looking for. A designer will confirm your order and send you a link for payment.

  • Lead time - Shorter. We accept orders 3 weeks in advance of your date.

  • Options - Fewer. Know exactly what you need? More concerned with overall color & style than the nitty gritty? This one’s for you.

  • Delivery. Available for an additional fee. Or, pick up your flowers for free! No setup or teadrown available.

  • Customization. Looking for something you don’t see, but most of the package works? We’re happy to make something just for you, with design fees starting at $100.

  • Rentals - None. Everything is yours to keep!

  • Payment. 50% nonrefundable deposit, 50% 3 weeks before your big day.

Custom Weddings

  • Pricing - Higher end. Starting at $5500.

  • Process - More guided. We’ll start with a 30 minute consultation, followed by a custom proposal, revisions, and final meeting to tweak your details.

  • Lead time - Longer. We typically book about 8-12 months in advance.

  • Options - Unlimited. Looking for something out of the box? Or need a lot of help talking through your options? This one’s for you.

  • Delivery, setup, & teardown. Included.

  • Customization. Unlimited. Everything is designed just for you!

  • Rentals - Yes. Access our full inventory of candles, lanterns, arches, and other goodies.

  • Payment. 50% nonrefundable deposit, 50% 2 weeks before your big day.


Simplicity FAQs

Delivery FAQs

  • We deliver to Chicago. Fees are based on the size of your order:

    <$500: $75

    $501-$1000: $100

    $1001-$3000: $200

    $3001+: $300

  • The most common locations are your reception venue, your ceremony venue, a hotel or (or other getting-ready location), or your house.

  • We can deliver to 1 or 2 locations, or you can pick up your flowers from our studio. We’re happy to do whatever works for you! Often, couples will have their personal and ceremony flowers delivered to either their getting-ready location, house, or ceremony venue. Cocktail and reception flowers will go to the reception venue.

  • Delivery includes a simple drop-off to your location. Unfortunately we do not offer setup at this time! We recommend asking a coordinator or trusted friend or family member to help with this task.

  • You can select a 2-hour window for delivery to a room of your choosing at the delivery address.

Pickup FAQs

  • We recommend picking them up the day before your wedding to make the big day less stressfu.

  • Bouquets will be boxed in vases of water. Boutonnieres, Corsages, and other personals are individually wrapped and placed in shopping bags. Everything else is packaged in flower boxes.

  • We can deliver to 1 or 2 locations, or you can pick up your flowers from our studio. We’re happy to do whatever works for you! Often, couples will have their personal and ceremony flowers delivered to either their getting-ready location, house, or ceremony venue. Cocktail and reception flowers will go to the reception venue.

  • Anything out of water (including personals, cut greenery, garland, and cake flowers) should be kept in the fridge. Everything else will be fine in a cool room or at room temperature. Keep away from extreme heat or freezing temperatures as this will kill the flowers.

  • You can select a 2-hour window for delivery to a room of your choosing at the delivery address.

Design & Customization FAQs

  • Start by checking out our online catalog and be sure to click into the product you have questions about. There’s a lot of detailed information - including more photos - for each item! Your wedding consultant can also try to answer questions BUT since everything is hand-made for your order, you won’t know exactly what it looks like until the big day.

  • For free, we will omit any flowers on your “Dislikes” list (except for roses) and try to incorporate flowers from your “Liikes”. With a $100 custom design fee, we can accomodate custom color palettes, certain style changes, and omit roses. Adding nonstandard items or serious style changes might be accomodated, pending designer approval. We cannot provide setup or teardown, use the customer’s own vases, attach arch pieces, or place the customer’s own decor. These are only available for custom weddings.

  • We can deliver to 1 or 2 locations, or you can pick up your flowers from our studio. We’re happy to do whatever works for you! General FAQs

  • At least a full day, and likely longer. Bouts, corsages, and other personals should be refrigerated until you’re ready to use them. Bouquets, centerpieces, and accent floral will be fine at room temperature for 1-2 days. Due to the perishable nature of flowers, we are not responsible for flowers after they leave our care.

  • We cannot use your vases, but talk to your designer about using your own bouquet accessories. They’ll need to be dropped off at the studio at least a week in advance.

  • Yep, no problem! We’ll touch base about a month before your wedding to confirm your order and go over delivery details. Any changes can be made at that point. We have a 3 week cutoff for changes, at which time we will place your order with our flower growers and vendors.

  • We totally get it! You have to wait for your RSVPs to come in. Put down your best guess on the preorder form, and we’ll update it all during our month-of check in meeting.

  • Usually we need a bit more notice, but sometimes we can accomodate a last minute order (especially for winter couples). Email us at hello@hedoniaflowers.com and we’ll see what we can do!
