I just got engaged. What’s next?

Congratulations!!!! We’re so excited for you. Typically, we work with brides who have their venue, date, and approximate color scheme & style worked out. Putting together a Pinterest page of flowers or decor you like is a good way for us to mind-meld about your vision. When you’re ready to chat, contact us and we’ll set up a time to talk.

Wait. Student discount?

Yep! 10% off to all current grad students. Because, grad school + wedding planning is a lot.

Undergrads, you're too young to get married.

What if I need to change my order after I book?

No problem! We’ll have a final meeting about a month before your big day. We’ll update everything at this point.

My partner & I are big weirdos. Can you help us out?

Yes please!!! We love working with nontraditional couples of all types. Weddings are a joyful expression of your love, and hats off to those bucking traditions to make it their own!

Normals also welcome :-).

What is the process like?

We’ll start with a 30-ish minute consultation call or in-person meeting in our lovely Bridgeport studio. Then, we’ll send you a lovely proposal based on our conversation. We’ll make any changes you need to get it to a place that fits your budget & vision.

To book your date, we require a 50% deposit and a signed contract, both of which can be completed online.

Do you have an order minimum?

For full service weddings (including delivery, setup, flips, annd teardown) our 2024-2025 minimum is $4000. There is no minimum for the Simplicity Collection.

Will I get to pick the exact flowers in my arrangements?

Our #1 priority is making your arrangements as fresh, vibrant, and gorgeous as possible on your wedding day. That means that, on the off chance we can’t get the exact flowers we discussed (or they’re not up to our quality standards), we’ll sub something similar in your color palette. Your designer can recommend what flowers are expected to be seasonally available.

How much do your flowers cost?

Don’t you hate how many hoops you have to jump through to get real numbers from vendors? Our pricing varies a little with what you’re looking for, but our 2024-5 pricing should give you a place to start. We don't believe in hidden fees, and are proud to offer a 10% discount to any current grad students. Price transparency for the win!

Do you deliver? Do you do setup & teardown?

Yep! Our delivery starts at 10% or $100 for orders under $1000. That includes setup at one location in Chicago proper.

More complicated deliveries (multiple locations, suburbs, room flip, end-of-event teardown) are a bit more, reflecting our extra cost of labor for your event.

You can also pick up your flowers for FREE from our Bridgeport, Chicago studio.

Do you have a retail store? Can I come by and shop?

To provide you with the best flowers at the lowest price, we don't have a retail space. We do love hosting visitors in our studio for wedding & event consultations as well as for scheduled pick-ups.

I plan a lot of events and would like to make my life easier. What can you do to help?

Order a lot of flowers? We can create a custom menu of arrangements for you to select from or for you to show your clients. We also offer easy online invoicing, a broad range of design styles, and excellent customer service.

I’d like to send flowers to a friend in Chicago.

We’d love to help! As a mostly-event florist, we need a little more lead time for deliveries (2-3 days) to get your flowers. We do offer free delivery to Chicago locations with a $150 minimum, no minimums for pickups. Let us know your color preference, if you’d like a vase, and your budget. We can take it from there!
