Laura & Joe’s Effortless, Colorful Wedding
“Happiness has only one color: The Bright! The bright of red, the bright of green, the bright of any color! Happiness is bright! It shines, it sparkles, it glints!”
Laura & Joe knew exactly what they wanted to prioritize during their wedding. They didn’t have a huge bridal party (Laura didn’t even have a bouquet), and they kept the design of their floral simple, yet impactful. They picked bright, bold colors and dark fresh greenery that really popped in the natural light at The Joinery. The hot pink peonies, the orange roses and the blue delphinium were soften with the addition of blush roses and peonies to create a fun, yet romantic final ceremony arch.
Aside from the ceremony arch, the focal point of their wedding reception was a hanging installation over The Joinery’s beautiful inside bar. We wove emerald Italian ruscus throughout the lattice work and hung the same flowers found in the arch from the greenery to create a cohesive, whimsical look for their guests to enjoy with their drinks!
Their ceremony arch pulled double duty as sweetheart table decor (pro-tip: always include at least one ground hedge on your arch if you’re planning on repurposing it for the reception) while the guest tables featured colorful budvases and bright jewel toned votives. Simple, warm and perfect for The Joinery’s stunning tables.
Congratulations again to Laura & Joe! Thank you for letting us be a part of your beautiful wedding!
